Midjourney: a novel method to create unlimited photos for a consistent character
A reusable virtual character is a valuable asset to any business. Finding a way to create a consistent character in the photographic style is one of the most sought-after techniques in Midjourney. A consistent character allows for more vivid and engaging storytelling. But even with the addition of inpainting Vary (Region), there is no easy way to accomplish this in Midjourney V5.2.
These methods allow for the quick creation of multiple poses for a character but suffer from low resolution due to the small size of individual images. Creating additional sets of photos is difficult or impossible. Methods that lock the image creation process with a seed number and Vary (Subtle) by multiple authors.
The seeds’ reliability has decreased because they are only truly reliable in a session. Seeds vary between server clusters. Vary (Subtle) may introduce other unfavorable changes to the character’s facial features, clothing, etc. This necessitates the creation of a set of similar images for each character. It’s the age-old chicken or egg problem. If you already have a lot of photos of the character, why make another with Midjourney? Multiple photos of a real person are easier to obtain because they can be photographed from various angles. It is possible to create a set of similar images of a character by extensively rerolling Vary (Strong) and Vary (Subtle) or by blending images.
